Pixie Bob cats and kittens have substantial and rangy torsos meaning medium to large with prominent shoulder blades. Their hips are medium-wide and prominent. They are slightly higher than the shoulders sloping downward towards the tail.
Pixie-Bob kittens and cats have deep flanks and sport primordial pouches. That is the flap of excess skin found in the belly area, a typical feature for wild animals. This is where a wild animal would store fat to make it through the winter.
Females are usually proportionally smaller than males, but some rather large females have been observed.
